Dennis called me yesterday, didn’t hear my phone. Thought about giving him a call back when I first got up.

With a 2 hour time zone difference that would wrinkle his brow[emoji56]

Campfire wood for the "shipwreck"

Seein that MAW and I are holding up at a hotel for the GC, we won't have any means to prepare food for gatherings at the food table. What I propose is for us to provide firewood for the week.

Let me hear from fellow attendees concerning this proposal. I need to know soon so I can get DRY wood from my daughter's wood pile and keep it dry for the nightly campfires.

BTW, I thought I posted this last night but I can't see it today.

Driftwood, right, seein' as it's a shipwreck?

Within state, I expect it's acceptable to the cg, & imo it's a generous offer. Thank you.

Kevan, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, so they say. Getting an RV Mutant to follow a leader is to time consuming and way to old of a dog.

Hey, the propane tank if for the griddle. Okay, I can share.

On edit: Dave has the fire pit and propane tank.

kevan has the propane tank for the griddle and a canopy.

So, I guess we don't need to bring any firewood. What's this world coming to? An artificial firepit of all things. What's next? Meeting at a hotel on the Vegas strip and calling it a GC? A camper allergic to campfire smoke is like a chef that can't tolerate the smell of food. We'll check the local market in Shipshewanna and see what we can dig up for a contribution of ready-made food.

personally I vote for a wood fire with the gas as back up. nothing beats a real fire on a cool night.
