Welcome Marcia and Bill.
When I get the email program straightened out (mostly know what I'm doing), I'll add you to it

Hey, Marcia & Bill! Welcome to the zoo!

In case nobody else has said, you are now the proud recipients of the mop & broom till the next victi.... errr, that is, new mutants ... come along. It gets pretty deep 'round here sometimes!

I'm Sue, spinner of yarn, hence the handle. Married to Martin, my English import, living in the homeplace on the farm in IL where I grew up, & glamping now & then. Green (& sometimes black) thumb, sometime artist, dabbler in many things.

Looking forward to meeting y'all sometime. Chime in, please, & introduce yourselves. Again, welcome!

Sue, RVM #36

I guess I can take a crack at it.

After much debate, around a campfire, Maine has tentatively being pitched as the next GC. Would stay at the same campground as last time, Timberland Acres, Trenton Maine.

If we want to attend the Blueberry Festival, I would suggest August 17-21, 2022.

Thoughts, ideas???

Other suggestions?

Got a early start this morning. Had planned a 9 am departure and we pulled out just after 8am. Very foggy but drivable up till we got just past the 5/20 restaurant where we came to a dead halt for 30-40 minutes. Due to the fog we couldn’t tell exactly what was going on, could only make out silhouettes. Several first responders came in as did a few hurried Amish buggiys. When they released the traffic an ambulance had come by us and when we passed the scene we saw a van and a Amish buggy but no horse. Not sure where the horse was!

Once back on the road we started making pretty good time. That is till the pounding rain hit! Driving was worse than the fog! Multiple wrecks and slowed traffic. What was planned to be a 9 to 9 1/2 hour drive turned into 12 hours.

We’re parked now near a Zaxbys where Mary and I split a salad, that is I ate half of her’s after finishing my sandwich meal.

We’re safe and full and I know Wayne missing me by now!

Really glad y'all made it home safely. Looking forward to seeing Mary again. Bring her down to Texas this winter.

I don’t think Tim and Mary are home yet.

I’m parked in the “car” section of a rest area near Danville PA. Hopefully no one will bother me for taking up a dozen spaces or so LOL

Around 4 more hours to deal with after a nights rest.
