He doesn't have to, she reads this forum daily.

Don't know how I have put up with her these 61 years.

Help! I am not a cat person, but I wanted cats to help keep rodents under control around my house here in Southern Arizona. Last night my oldest cat, Scaredy, came through the doggie door with a mouse in her mouth. She of course wouldn’t let me get anywhere near her and she would occasionally drop the mouse, which was very much alive still. Thankfully she managed to catch it each time, but I could not convince her to take the #&@$# thing back outside. No way I wanted to witness the mouse's fate. I managed to get her outside and she darted back thru the doggie door before I could get it sealed shut. Of course, the other cat, Squeaky, and both dogs, Bebe and Lily, wanted to "help". It took 30 minutes to get her out for the night. I learned the hard way not to let the cats stay inside overnight.

I'm glad she caught a mouse, but how do I convince her not to bring them inside? Are there any cat whisperers here?

can't help with the mouse but, as a cat owner, I loved the story

Well I would list my service record but it was sealed. Marines- to tall, Navy- couldn’t float, Air Force- airsickness, Coast Guard- live inland so nearly 50 years later I find my niche, one weekend a month!

Been on maneuvers the past two weeks, some top secret sightings, no kills.
Come back to civilization for one night and see I and my bride are being picked on!

Regardless, thanks Veterans for your service!
