Replace gas stove with electric stove top

This two-element induction cooktop claims that it has power management capability so it can be plugged into a standard 1800W outlet (15A). Apparently Winnebago is using it in some models because it provides two burners without needing 240V. Double Burner Induction Cooktop

Gas cooking is better, but these gas burners on RV’s have very little variables for decent heat control. Induction is the next best thing which is why I am replacing mine as well.

My plan is to remove the gas stove top and replace the opening with a custom fit butcher block for the increase countertop. Pull out the cooktop when needed.

They also make a cook mat that can be used on an induction top so you can use any type of cookware.
