RV Dealer that has a campground for testing?
Does anyone know of an RV Dealer, preferably on the West coast, that has an RV park or campground and they allow you to stay there in your newly purchased RV to test things out?

Not on the West coast, but LazyDays does this in Florida. This is old information from a friend and happy customer, and they had sites where you could park the old and new coaches side by side and take some time to exchange items and try out systems

We stayed at RV world for 3 days before dropping the cash on our 2004 winnebago. We got to try it through the hot FL days and torrential downpour nights. We dry camped hooked up to 30A.
I will note that it didnt really make a difference on avoiding issues. The only thing that came to light during the testing that wasnt already known from the inspection was the pressure release and drain on the water heater needed to be replaced. After getting home and running the leveling system about 20 times we had some trouble with it. We were in a torrential downpour night before last and found we have a few new leaks after a couple months. One set of outlets decided not to work due to a failing GFCI outlet. So...YMMV when it comes to test camping your rv before buying. We already could tell the floor plan was good for us and the mattress was not the most comfortable. You wont learn a lot about the kitchen until you try to put all your crap in it. We have 34480958 cabinets and lots of counter space and the size and depth of the cabinets is silly. The lazy susan cabinet is great if long term camping but not practical when traveling. That was pretty obvious in the beginning lol
This policy is probably per dealer and a phone call checking their "policy" would be a good idea. The camper world in Tampa wouldnt let us stay in it because they dont have a campground. Beware though camper world is not for those without steel balls for negotiating. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone or plan on them performing any repairs or expect them to be honest. When negotiating the price I took off the cost to have my RV guy do the repairs. I would never go back to them under any warranty situation on a new unit. So far Ive experienced 3 CW in 3 states. Not impressed.

Midtown RV in Penticton, BC has a number of sites for those becoming accustomed to their new RVs and for customers in for service. Most RV buyers stay there for two to four days after buying a coach.

I was at Farewell bend State Park in Oregon around the end of April. The Camping World in Boise had brought out around 20 vehicles that people were staying in, both for a camping Orientation and sales. I asked the CW rep about it and they say they do it every year. I thought it was a great idea especially since it was right before Oregon really kicks in to camping mode.

Not ready to sell now but when we do the buyers will be able to camp in our driveway until they are completely comfortable with the rig.

You beat me to it.
Premier in Junction City will allow it also, but they only have electricity (50 amp if needed). They have water and a dump station around front.
