Rv furniture update

Hello all, we were wondering if anyone has removed the jack knife couch in their rv and replaced it with a De Leon 2seat recliner (love seat). We were wondering about the quality since we cannot find positive or negative reviews any where. They look very nice and are made for rvs. They have a center pull down for holding drinks when two people are reclining, otherwise it can be used as a love seat.
Rv in storage can't wait for spring!
Thanks,
Dar and Dale

Yes we did, we love our seats. Type in Old sleeper couch out. This was the post I first saw on these seats, and after we bought our seats, I posted pics. We actually went to factory in LaHabra, Ca and saw them being made. We had a flip couch which was so uncomfortable, these seats are so worth the money. I will try and post pics again but if you have any questions, let me know.

Wow what a nice looking set up, we love the color and also the extra trays that are attached to the arms of the chairs. Is yours the De Leon name brand? We see that the company is locate in Ca. We live in Ohio and we have no way of checking them out for quality before calling to order. Our RV is still in storage for winter. We can't measure the opening now, but hubby checked 2007 Winnebago floor plan and it states we have a sofa measuring 67 in length, which sets next to our booth. Our setup looks same as yours with couch being on the big slid with the booth. What size is your double recliner? Thanks so much for the pics and the reply, we are excited now that we see yours. It really looks so comfy.
Thanks again for your reply

Yes ours are the DeLeon measuring 68 inches. We also bought tables for each side, we have a small motorhome and to save space we do not use table that came with it, takes up too much room. The recliners are perfect for the two us. When the tray table in center is folded up, the lower center can be opened for more storage. I noticed that the more we use the seats the softer they get. They were alittle stiff at first. The company will send a sample chart of all the colors, we went with leather as that is what we had. We were able to match with the captain chairs almost perfect. Hope this helps, good luck with your search. We are getting ready to leave in one week for Quartzsite, Az and Yuma for a couple of weeks, love rving😊

Just curious, but you do know that you do not have to have the "rv" couch/loveseat in there right? You do know that you can go to any furniture store and get any piece that you like? Things do not have to say "RV" on it, you can save lots of money most of the time by buying something that is not "made for RV's".

Yes. Just make sure you can get it in the door.

Thank you for taking the time to show your upgrade. We are wanting to replace a jackknife with something that has the utility of your sofa/recliner. Just a couple of questions.

First, can you access the underside of the sofa from the back? Not necessary for us but would be ideal if I could use the space for fishing materials.

Second, do the trays you ordered require additional space to turn or is it within the clearance of the arms. It appears yours are forward of the slide and do have a full arc that is outside of the arms. We will be placing in a deep slide in our TT and with the 68 inch you purchased we will have only an additional swing room of 4 inches on each side.

I found the item on the web at shop for seats...can you recommend a dealer. We are very appreciative of your post and especially so because this is a fit for use design. We have looked at Lazy Boy etc. If the quality is here it is a superior design for our use. THANKS!!!

We can't really access back of couch for storage. Our side tables do clear our small slide so we have a pretty good swing. Tried to take a better picture for you. Would seem 4 inches should be ok. You do not need to get tables if you don't want, they were extra. We bought our recliners from Shop 4 Seats. They are not far from us in So. California. We were able to go to their shop and see them being made. They were very helpful and we feel quality is excellent. They make and ship seats all over country. We love our seats and wish you luck. They were perfect for our situation which is limited space.

We had a Deleon couch but didn't like it. I found it very uncomfortable and the recliners barely reclined. We got rid of it and got 2 La-Z-Boy recliners.

We just took a 60 inch loveseat out of our coach. It was so uncomfortable we could not sit on it. Replaced it with a leather electric reclining loveseat that is very comfortable.
