After living in GA since 1958, I'm moving back to North Carolina, the state of my birth. Had hoped my new home would be completed before the weather became hot, but that didn't happen. So, next week I will load all 14 cats into carriers, place them in the air conditioned motorhome and then off to their new home in North Carolina. It should be a meowing, yowling good time. Wish me luck.

When I taught at the vet school at UGA, my students used to say that they saw little cats along the highway with signs that said "Dr. Prestwood's or bust." My oldest cat is nearing 20 and I have 5 between 15 and 20. The others are between 12 and 15 --- Lots of geriatric cats at my house.
