Just wondering if anyone out there is involved with a service-orientated/special organization to help others.
Personally, I have been a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for about the past 14 years.
How about you?? Any club affiliations?

B.P.O.Elks Lodge 1181, Bremerton, WA

...has a very nice RV park with a clubhouse and will accommodate approximately 25 RV's ...electric & water at each site. Bremerton is across the Puget Sound (see map) about an hour car ferry ride from Seattle.

I wish you had added Rotary on your list. Rotary clubs don't only do service in their own communities but the in the world community. Their Polio Plus program has nearly wiped out polio in the world and they are working to finish the job. The new project of Pure Water for the World is also extremely important. This program installs filtration systems for community water supplies in developing countries. Rotarians are hands on and go to these countries to install these filtation systems. They also work to build schools and hospitals, do dental work, and eye exams. I am the president-elect for our local Rotary. I also served for 13 years on our volunteer ambulance organization.

I'm a Life Member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 391. We are a community service chapter and do a lot for the community especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I also belong to Disabled American Veterans (DAV), American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. All of these organizations do a great deal for veterans, but for everyone in the community.
Being service-connected 100% disabled gets me free entrance to all National Parks for life and 50% savings on camping in the Parks.

Hi All,

Well I don't belong to any of the Organisations that were mentioned above, however I think 25 years as a Volunterr Fire Fighter, 3 years on the Volunterr Ambulance Squad before that, and as of Now 24 Years with the Sheriff's Office has me covered with service & help to others!!

Does 20 years in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary count? How about 12 years with Optimist International? Both are fine organizations which I proudly served in many leadership rools. Lost count of the years as Flotilla Commander with the USCGAUX.
Now if I could just find an organization that could accomodate my travels, well.....sign me up!
