Of those of you out there that are "Snow Birds",
Where do you summer over. We have a home
IN SOCAL, but want to sell it and buy
a small home in a more financially friendly
state. Any suggestions?

I should have said "where do you
Winter over". Still thinking backward seasons.

Living in NC all my life and RVing in FL. 15+ yrs., the traffic in Tampa is awful when the snow birds come for the winter. Campgrounds are really high during this time. Housing is expensive, though I guess that is relative!
NC has the state sales tax, but the housing is much more reasonable...unless like a larger city like Charlotte or Raleigh.

We like to winter in AZ. We love deserts and mountains, and there are plenty out there. We don’t stay in one place though, and we definitely don’t stay in a resort of any kind except maybe a week in the middle. Yuma is nice, and the weather is generally really lovely.
