My acrophobia grew as I aged. I just threw away an old climbing belt and chalk bag.
But multi-day climbs were never on my bucket list. I drew the line at sleeping on the cliff.

Made my stomach a bit queasy just watching video., and I used to, back in the day, set 100 foot towers for televised golf tournaments.

I think he crossed it. When you’ve got your kids with you, you’ve got to put their ongoing well-being first. If he was by himself, whatever. If he’s a free climber acting nervous for the camera that’s even worse as it encourages others that don’t have his capabilities to do stupid things.

The one kid says it right I think “it’s sketchy”.
