Talk me out of this one

We currently have a 04 Pace Arrow 37c, and today we had a few minutes so we stopped by one of the new local RV shops and came across a 2013 Entrgra Anthem 44DLQ.

We also looked at a few other 13 and 14 units, but the wife Kept going back to this Anthem.

SO, tell me why I would not want to upgrade, Best shot here.
The biggest thing I have come up with so far is that It will be difficult to back up our driveway!!

What are the specs on the current unit? How old are the tires? What upgrades have you done and how long ago? What don't you like about the current coach that makes you want to upgrade?

Those questions are more important than what you see in the new coach. IMHO anyway.

Here goes - We had a few minutes so we stopped... - 1 - famous last words before buying a new coach... Why be like the others. Resist. -2 - if you weren't in the market before - why are you now. They were there all along. - 3 - Got a pile of cash - if not - payment will likely be longer and higher (if you don't have payment now...)

Alas, I fear it is too late for you. DW kept going back to it.... It may all be over but the signin...

I know how you feel. I was going to a nearby RV dealer to pick up a part for our 5th wheel and look at a couple of bigger late model used rigs since we had talked about a larger 5th in the next year or two. DW asked if she could "tag along", I didn't see a problem so we went to the dealer. Got my part, looked at a few 5th wheels and she saw a 2012 AF, special ordered but the deal fell through. She went in, saw the King sized bed, built-in vac system, fireplace, full size shower etc, etc and that was the end when the sales peddler saw her face. VERY expensive parts pickup run! Next time she goes with me, I am going to have her entire face Botoxed....... But we do like our new 5th wheel and it has everything to satisfy that part of our bucket list.

If that's it, I'd say you are buying a new coach.

She came out and said we were going to get cashier check?? What do you do? Buy or divorce? Ha Ha! We now have what she wants, I have what I NEED (a happy DW)

To be absolutely blunt about why you should NOT upgrade.
1. Ugh... Hmmmm
2. Well.......

OK, I give up, can't think of any reason not to, can come up with a bunch why you would want to.

Boy, you guys are a big Help...LOL....

AS for my Current unit, it is very nice. New Tires, Great running Engine, and only a few things to take care of. (as I am sure they all do)

Keep the Arguments coming, Really.... I am trying hard to talk Her out of it,,,,, She just asked me, "so, once you saw the unit did you not compare all the others to it", Me " NO way, every unit stands on it own" OK, she was right...... LOL

Ok, don't buy it! I bet the divorce will be cheaper anyway. Oh, make sure you get the Pace in the settlement, you'll need a place to live
