According to the 1st post back in 2017

RV Mutants
*Protect and grow the nest egg.
*Don't carry debt. You need the space for important things.
*Plan your escape and escape your plans. Make the dream happen, then wing it.
*Don't miss what ya ain't got. Be happy with ya have and to be on the road, your way.
*Take what ya think ya need and when ya figure out ya don't need it - get rid of it.
*Take care of what ya have.
*We also like to pay others to work.

If you are or think you might be an RV Mutant let us know what ya ain't got and don't need - or what ya must have and how you roll - or any qualities ya think make for a happy RV life, present or future

I put that thread on my "ignore" list. Never did quite see what it was about or why it went on so long. There are other threads on my ignore list that people happily keep going and going but I simply have no interest in. The "ignore" is a pretty neat function.

So where do we find this function? Please.

From a mutants perspective:

It's a bunch of folks who have no concern about what you camp in, what you travel in, etc., just as long as you're having a good time and believe in the journey being the destination.

The thread itself is just an ongoing conversation of friends that have either met each other in gatherings we call Grand Curiosities or they have never met yet find common things to converse about.

Over 200 folks have declared themselves as mutants and that along with a couple of bucks will likely allow you to buy a cup of coffee.

We have no core requirements of any kind other than to be friends and as the opportunities arise, meet up, eat food and be merry.

I found the thread when there were maybe 40 or 50 members, you can see my number, the first gathering I went to was enough fun to continue to go to these random events as often as I can.
