I don't indulge in the whiskies, bourbons, cognacs to much. But when I do my first choice is Scotch, as well as trying some non Scotch single malts. A quality cognac is a great pleasure as well.

Okay. Okay.

We know what the good stuff is.

What is the bad, aweful, trashy, skanky wisky?

Don't even "try" Lauder's Scotch. It's that bad and nothing kills the taste for far to long.

Well, the worst stuff I've had in some time came in 2 mason jars that I acquired in Cosby, TN, where I live part of the year. You hold the gun on me while I take a swig.

I'm searching for Canadian Mist that was mentioned earlier and BC liqueur stores don't seem to sell it.
It's either so bad that we won't drink it up here and ship it south of the border for you all to enjoy or it's made south of the border and the brewer just slapped our name on it for some personal vendetta.
Ya think?

I stick to a few poplars that I like, but I can agree Kessler is good only for cleaning paint brushes.

The Baby Blue Corn might work on fire ants if it is undrinkable.

I've got a Highland Single malt I really don't like. It's not bad whisky in the sense that it tastes terrible, like the Baby Blue Corn, but I found Dalmore 12 undrinkable. It is utterly, utterly bland. It's overly smooth, and for all that it has a pleasant mouth feel, it is substantially lacking in the scent/taste/feel of single malt. True, Highland single malts tend to be a bit lighter in character than the Speysides or Islays, but this stuff went beyond lighter and clear into boring. There is nothing really wrong with it, but there's nothing really right with it either. I can't be bothered to drink the damn stuff, because there are so many other good whiskies out there to imbibe. And my friends that drink scotch only drink good scotch, so we can't even unload the stuff on someone else :-)

Life is much too short to drink bad scotch.

Terrible is defined by how thirsty you are! Jack's has never let me down!

I drank Rebel Yell as a teenager, at the time it seemed a lot cutting ones throat with a rusty razor. Haven't had the nerve to try it since I got grown. Makers Mark is my choice in bourbon, but am mostly a dedicated single malt scotch drinker.
