FJ is consistently highest of any major stations where I travel. Locally, $1.71 at Sams--nearest FJ is $2.20--that's about $14 on a 30-gal fillup, and a big deal when I fill my 60-gal bed tank.

Similar savings at Costco locations that carry diesel.

Gas Buddy rocks! We also take the time to report prices.

Not everyone does though...
and while it helps, it's not always the lowest

but I too use it when in new areas.

I work in one city and live in another. There is often a .12 difference in gas and as often as I drive it adds up in a year. Filling the 75 gallon MH fuel tank it adds up quite fast.

I loaded Gas Buddy a few years back and have used it every since. Plan to keep doing so as if it is just down the road, I will go there instead.

Fuel prices are mostly higher at stations at or near interstates as opposed to those 10 miles away. Doesn't make any difference if it's Shel, BP, or what ever.
I have not found Pilot/Flying J prices to be higher than other stations at interstate exits. I use the Pilot/Flying J charge card so I pay the "cash" price plus an additional .03/gal discount. This often puts me below stations at the same and near by exits.

You can use gas Buddy with several CC and get an additional 5% off. That's a dime @ $2 a gallon!
