Well it snow all day.......accumulated about 3" of fluffy dense snow with just the right amount of moisture to make great snowballs and Snowmen
She grew up in Sunny Southern California and never had a snowball fight or made a Snowman so like a couple of kids we did BOTH

Got the neighbors involved in the snowball war......we won because we outlasted them.
Then built a 5' Snowman.

Quit snowing around 5pm and with the temps dropping it will all be ICE tomorrow .......hard crunchy but it will have that 'crystallized' sparkle

It was a great way to End 2018!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all

Happy new year to you old-biscuit! I hope the rest of the year is as good for you as Monday. Ha, I just connected your handle to your Navy career. Dad was on the USS Implicit during WWII; lead minesweeper for the Atlantic fleet.

I hear ya. in the morning I've got to go out and find the Christmas decorations that used to be on the front porch last evening.
BTW, New years came in with a bang(many) here in S. Indiana. For a few minutes it reminded me of being back on a firing range at Ft. Benning.
