The Weather Here

Wouldn't you know it! The weather here for the next week will be in the mid seventies.

Tomorrow, I undergo the knife for the right shoulder rotators cuff. I'll be in the pillow sling for two weeks. That is something new since I had the left one done. I think it was only 4-5 days for that one, and it was open surgery. This one is orthoscopic.

So, Seajay, don't pick on my to bad for the next couple weeks unless you see me typing on here because I can maneuver my fingers over the keyboard. I'm not going to hunt and peck with the left hand. It's going to be busy pecking other ...... never mind.

Good luck on your surgery. I recently had a rod installed in my right humerus and wasn't a bit humorous.

Good luck on your surgery. I had my left rotator cuff done 5 years ago and was in that sling for 6 weeks.

My husband had the pillow sling and someone told him he had the nice one. It was like having one of the kids in bed with you.

Oh! By the way, this is not my first rodeo.

Left and Right knee ACL's repaired, right knee replaced, left shoulder RC repaired. So now the right shoulder will be done and then all that is left (I hope) is replacing the left knee, which needs replacing.

Wanna dance!

If I could only get that BIG tattoo. Hmmm!

Thank you all for the good wishes. Prayers work also.

yahknow sumpin. If me and you hit security at the same time we'd drive them totally outta their collective minds.

My wife thinks she's got the high cost of funerals screwed. She plans to throw me over the fence of the local auto-wrecker and let him deal with all the metal in me.

Wayne, best to you on your latest surgery. We'll put enough water in Seajay's boat to keep him bailing for two weeks so that he can't pick on you. After that, you're fair game.

Just remember, "Round is a shape." So, I'm in shape.

Sitting here with right arm in pillow sling. It has a little ball on the end for me to squeeze. It doesn't hurt to squeeze the ball, so it must be part of the sling. I'll know more when the nerve block wears off.

Actually the block wore off and I'm extremely lucky that there is no, to little, pain. I'm hunting and pecking (don't get excited Seajay) with the left hand. If I wanted to sit up, I could use both hands to type.

Operation went well. Dr, stated that there was no arthritis in the shoulder, just the partial tear. They went in Orthoscope, completed the tear, then repaired it. I guess they wanted to give me my money's worth.

Thanks for the prayers and well wishes.

Computer withdrawal pains are diminishing also.

OLD AGE AIN'T FOR SISSIES. JOIN THE CLUB.
I was fine until I said I was going to retire, then everything started to go wrong. Even the MH started to act up.

Larry,
You could always stay working!

But hey, retired gives you more time to break and fix things.
