This is wonderful!!!!

Yup, our first real snow storm. Wind is from the east which means we could have some lake effect snow. Especially since we're about 600' above and 5 miles from Lake Superior. We really need the moisture from this storm.

Plus it kicked our son into finally putting their Blizzak snow tires on their 4-wheel drive Suburban.

Love it, love it. When I was down hill skiing I would be heading to the ski area to ski the "powder"......:B

Congrats, but you can keep it to yourself. We have had plenty of rain to keep our water table up.

Wife is from Duluth, she says you can keep your snow and lake effects!!

It's 44° here and sunny although it did snow a little on Friday while the roofers were putting the new roof on the stick house.

There is a real good reason we moved from Upstate NY a few miles from Lake Ontario. Sub zero temps and lake effect snow. North Carolina has some cold days, but we have had 70 degree weather and the trees are budding, so spring will be here real soon.

But, but, she is missing the blizzard we are having today. Maybe 12" as we have an east wind off the lake. Park Point might get some deep drifts.

Gee, our daughter lives across the river from you. When visiting we park the motor home at Jantzen Beach RV Park.
