This Just Rollled In

I enjoy a YouTube channel by the same name. This vehicle came in for an inspection before going on a vacation towing their RV. Yikes!!

Come on now that's just some light surface rust, on top of that other rust.

Good cleaning and buff should take care of that

That’s pitiful. Most of us have sound, non rusted, solid undercarriages and we’re afraid they’ll break.

if you have some minutes to kill you should seek out that channel.
It might blow your mind at the things you see on there.

TV only used annually for their trip to stay on the beach , they've only been caught by high tide a couple of times.

This shows the dangers of using salt on the roads.

Prior to retirement , I was an MOT inspector for the BC government , all out of province vehicles had to be inspected before the could be registered in BC.
It takes a LOT , to , blow my mind.
Old vehicles showing up for inspection , with most of the fuses wrapped in tin foil.
Cardboard for floor boards under the drivers floor mat .

I do wish digital cameras had been readily available back then .

Looks like lightening holes. Less weight on the rear axle means the tongue weight can go way up!

The spirit of Colin Chapman:
“Simplify, then add lightness”.

salt or worse, pretreatment with brine, should be stopped. There are more vehicles with all wheel drive and ABS today, so why the need to salt the roads so heavily and constantly?

There have been times I have limped through a blown fuse situation by wrapping it in a spearmint gum wrapper. Foil-backed paper, just enough to get you home in a pinch.

Because ppl don't know how to drive let alone how to drive with abs/awd/4wd they think it gives them god power.
I second the motion to ban brine and go back to ash/grit.
I hate salt, all it does is create slush which grabs your wheels and trys to throw you out of the lane.

No need to cut holes. Just add a couple of sticks of anti-gravity.
