Was living in NC and heard this one - feel free to fill in other schools

2 guys in the restroom at a Duke / UNC basketball game.

The Duke guys says to the other, who is washing his hands, "you must have gone to UNC"

"Yes" he says, "how can you tell?"

The Duke guy replies. "I understand they teach you to wash yours hands after using the toilet".

"Of course" the UNC guys says......

The Duke guy replies as he walks out without washing his hands "at Duke, they teach us not to pee on our hands"

The big downside to air hand dryers is lack of sanitation, as already addressed.
With only air dryers in the washroom there is a big problem. It only takes one person not washing to contaminate the door handle to exit the room. Everyone who follows gets contaminated with the first persons germs in order to open the door.

Yes I have noticed the noise, also the fact that they work.

Suggest you buy a pair of Boise noise canceling headphones (the older larger size works best) and wear them,, Turned on.

Folks use the "Federal" dryers at Mt Rushmore to dry their feet when it rains.

Or a redcoat and a colonist. Dad told me that joke when I was a boy, he said he heard it during the war (he was Navy-WWII)
