Just a quick reference. Searching the site, 1410 occurrences of the tired, overused cliche, "pulling the trigger".

Then why is nobody complaining about a phrase that appears 0VER 145,000. 102 times more frequently. That phrase: "Welcome to IRV2"




So just to keep it fresh, knock that off too.

Just because you say something often doesn't make it bad. Like "Thank you", You're welcome" and "I love you".

How about the phrases "having said that" and "that being said". Those get used quite a bit also. I guess it makes the poster sound more studious and knowledgeable on the subject.

Having said that, I'm pulling the trigger on this thread.

We watch the Home and Garden TV Channel.
