I like to believe that no one intentionally sets out to hurt or anger others. Also that we all like to help others from our experiences.
No, not being a Pollyanna, just trying to keep civility and humility in the mix. I have read the personal 'attacks' and find them vulgar and avaricious by the poster. Many times, the reader does not take the post as it was intended, but there are definitely some folks who, for the most part, can be identified as 'Negative Nancy' or 'Bitter Betty'. I find NN's and BB's to be of both sexes and of any age. However; as I get older, I am more familiar with those my age and older and we do tend to have less tolerance and a whole lot less patience than we used to. Not meaning that negatively, just a fact of life.
I jump in and type back a response when I've been the target of those and before I hit the post button, I sit and think about it. I ask myself, is it worth stirring the hive? Almost always, it is not. Because I don't know what the so called 'attacker' for a lack of better word, has gone through, or what their mood is, or what kind of up or down life has dished out to them on that particular day.
Almost always, I have to say, I am better off holding my tongue and going on with it. Not to say I always can do that, but I try.
We all are only human, and I do believe that even the Negative Nancies and Bitter Betties (NNs and BBs) have their outstanding moments of help and assistance as well.
Remember, no one is ALL bad. Try hold judgement against others and look at life through their eyes before you go on a rant.....that's my motto......well, maybe what I strive for anyway.
Have a great weekend everyone!!
(gosh do I sound like a wall flower here or what?)
