Totaled Coleman Monterey Pop-Up For Parts

I was coming home from camping and someone ran into the back of my 2004 Coleman Monterey Pop-up. While the damage isn't significant, the insurance company is totaling it.

I'm negotiating the price, and it seems like they are pushing me to take the buy-out amount and keep it instead of giving me the last couple hundred dollars.

What's the market to sell these for parts? This is an extremely well maintained camper and All of the systems are good. It has working: Air conditioner, 3-way refrigerator, furnace, 30 amp power supply with cord, water pump, clear water tank, roof lift motor, two bed motors, motor control unit with remote. In addition, the canvas is in terrific shape.

Surely someone parts these things out.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I am sure that all that is worth far more than $200.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Yes it is, but only if somebody has time and place to take it apart and store until a buyer is found. Maybe a better plan, would be patch the "damage isn't significant," and have a camper to use or sell...
