TRUE, or ?????

Sounds kinda 'iffy' to me, but what do I know? Would be good to know, the next time one finds theirself in that situation?

I can't say for sure, but it sounds to me like another "internet" thingy!

Internet disinformation. This is not true what so ever.

I've heard that if you put your P.I.N. number in backwards, the money will come out backwards....... A $50 bill will be a $05 and a $20 will be a $02.

This sounds like a great idea so I checked in on snopes (www.snopes.com) and here was what I found:
"Entering your PIN in reverse at any ATM will not summon the police; the idea is nothing more than an old and unimplemented suggestion."
Like I said a great idea but not true

As others have said...BS! Besides, in a panic, how many folks can type a PIN backwards? It is more important to find ATMs in well lit and reasonably high traffic areas.

Along with that, you should use extreme care with any ATM. One is more likely to be robbed by skimmers and cameras. See All About Skimmers

Criminals make much more money ripping off your account or selling the information on the black web than by force.

I just tried to type my pin number backwards on this laptop just to see if I could do it. It's much harder to do than you think. Like trying to recite the alphabet backwards. I can always get the first letter correctly, but then I falter.

I called my bank, and hey said this is not true, at least not at any of their machines. More internet misinformation.

My pin reads the same backwards and forwards. How can that work? For example 4334.

"My pin is the same frontwards as backwards?"

I'm screwed. The police are coming no matter what I do!
