Unbelievable!

Traveling on 122 between Tehachapie and Hwy 5, a hawk feeding on roadkill - a rabbit, we think - picks it up and tries to fly away before get there... unsuccessfully, I might add.

It smashed into the driver's side windshield and shattered it. The rabbit smashed into the passenger side windshield and left a huge mess for me to clean up, but no damage. I have pix but can't figure out how to post from my phone... I'll try to post from my Kindle later.

Seriously, what are the odds?
