Unexplained Events/Ghost Stories

strictly for Hallowe'en let's read some ghost stories or unexplained events.

Here's my little story:

Back in the '90s during a canoe trip, 4 people in canoes, in the middle of a lake, in the Canadian wilderness ... and it's dusk. The sun has set and it's getting darker. No cottages, homes, campsites ... nothing but wilderness and 4 people until ...

One of the guys notices a light at the end of the lake. We can see the light going in/out of the trees. Must be someone walking on a road so we dig out the map - no roads, no trails, nothing but forest. We paddle a bit closer, the light becomes a touch clearer. We can't figure out why anyone would be in the woods. Who the heck would it be??

We paddle closer and then ... it happens ... we see two lights ... then a 3rd. Now we're really wondering what's going on. Paddle a bit closer ...

Fireflies sure had all 4 of us fooled for quite a time!

Happy Hallowe'en

Was at my high school, and there was a set of lights. About 2 high and 3 wide, very bright. Not really moving. It was about 830pm after school for an Ag event.
Got a few more people to look, and no one could figure it out. Started walking around and realized that the lights were attached to the pole on the football field.
