It’s not my place to run the train
The whistle I can’t blow
It’s not my place to say how far the trains allowed to go
It’s not my place to shoot off steam or even clang the bell
But let the darn thing jump the track
And see who catches hell.

I'm guessing the OP is trying to retell "A Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy."

Maybe this will end this thread.

The answer is "42". Now then, what was the question?

"Now then, what was the question?"

Go back to post 1 and start over. It's in there somewhere.

People who wonder if the glass is half full or half empty miss the point. The glass is refillable.

Forget the glass-skip the middleman!
Now if the bottle is half empty it's time to hit the still, I mean STORE, it's time to hit the store.

My superpower is holding on to junk for years and throwing it away a week before I need it.

Did you hear about the surgery team that amputated a guy's leg and discovered it was the wrong leg so they amputated the other one too? He couldn't even sue them, he didn't have a leg to stand on.
