Upcoming Storm Jonas

I hope everyone makes it through the storm with no issues. Good luck to all those affected by it.

Thanks Bruce, we're down here just west of Pensacola in Elberta AL. Lots of rain, some lightning, now it's windy as heck. Still better than what some folks are getting in NC and northward.

Many RVers are far better equipped to weather a storm.. My Rig can generate power for at lest 3 days if the tank is full.. and of course it is fully self contained for longer than that.. (I modified both RV and house by adding outlets and inlets so RV could power house in the event Detroit Edison failed me.. Which of course.. they did.)

I did the same, I have outlets for the RV gen. but if I need aux. power I have a backup generator for the house. But the coach is ready if I ever need it. I agree most RVers are better prepared.

Slides in, people. If you leave them out and ice freezes on top of them, you may not be able to get them in for a long time.

Thanks Bruce,
I am well prepared, ATV with plow, John Deere with loader, 2 generators, full tank of fuel in my MH and a trailer load of firewood in my garage. Now I will just sit back and enjoy the snow!

Bruce, none here maybe some east in the FL panhandle. Still warmer than back in KCMO. Sometimes a little cold weather keeps the pesky insects at bay!

Just chilling in Maryland. We have everything we need and waiting for sunshine on Sunday. Currently looking 5 inches of snow in yard.
