Used rv financing?

First time buyer and we are looking to finance a 2016 stryker 3010 toy hauler. Spoke with my wife's credit union and wasn't super happy with the terms. Interest rate was great. Who were people using? We are both 800+ credit score. Thanks for any direction.

We used Southeast financial. Process went quite smooth all done online / email until you overnight signed documents. We got 5.99 % and could go to 20 years with that rate (we didn't).

Check out Bank of the Ozarks. Got a good deal from them when I purchased my used Class A.

My experience and those I know personally is we have better luck with local institutions. Knowing your banker - difficult in this day of computers and your banker is 12,000 miles away and has difficulty with English.

In the past 15 years I have purchased four RVs, one travel trailer and three motorhomes, all over ten years old. I was able to secure what I wanted at a local bank where the decision maker is a person, not a computer generated reply. I have found that credit unions (local or national) operate on a different set of rules than does a bank.

Just an opinion, based on experienced.

Credit unions are always the way to go. Confussed with "Wasn't happy with the terms." If the rate was great what was the problem?

Thanks everyone. Southeast financial sent us back our approval letter today. It was very easy.

Southeast Financial was very easy for us also. My credit union was quite high rate and short term, it was obvious they don't want to finance RV's. Funny, because they are great with everything else.

We just bought a 2016 MH last month and went through M&T Bank out of Buffalo. 15 years at 5.74% interest rate. That was a better deal than we could get with our local banks and credit union.
