A few years ago when I started to sign up for the first forum I ever joined, I noticed many people were using nick names. After thinking about a unique name I could remember, I heard the song Southern Nights come on the radio.
I use this name on all the forums I now belong to cause I just cant remember too many names.

Wild man in my younger days. I tended to break things... Mostly my bones You know how it goes "hey, watch this...". As an indistructable Leather Neck I got the nickname Taz because I was a wild devil.

With over 40 years in the telephone business, Splicing cables, stringing wire in cross boxes, and on Main distribution frames, I got the name hung on me as the Wire Wrat when I was assigned to a Preventitive maintenance crew. There we got to tear splices all apart and rebuild them.. Oh what fun....

Never ran into a 4fr, but always liked to see the look on the newbys face when you walked up to them and asked them what color 601 was?

I had coined the acrenim?(sp) T M O because I T D F. I gave that to our engineering department telling them a circuit would not work where they wanted it. When they asked what a T M O because I T D F was and how they could fix the problem I told them (It's Too Many Ohms, because It's too Damn Far) and to move the customer closer to the office! needless to say we had a difference of opinion..
