I think they call those of us who live in California "Stupid". That, or we are "Dudes". Not sure what the preferred name is. Forty years ago I think we were called Californians, but that was so long ago I am not sure of my memory.

Originally from ROChester NY where I was a New Yorker.
Moved to Hollywood California so I became a "transplant"
Moved to Alaska - Alaskan - If I was a native I would be an Inuit.
Now I am a Floridian.
What do they call people from Maine?
A Mainiac ???

You are only talking about 700 people and maybe that includes the pets too. Let's see.... Idahoan, Atholian, or maybe "The Rez". I've gone thru that town many times.

Arkansan or Arkansawyer are both pretty acceptable. I prefer "Arkie" or "Arkansas hillbilly"

Being originally from the troll, as another put it,part of Michigan, passing through Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, North Carolina to my current many year resting place in Upstate New York, am often in reality best called over taxed and under loved. I am not a s#$% kicking dairy farmer as most of them have moved on to their personal nirvana while their death taxed farms have gone over to become housing developments for the upwardly bound 'rude' Downstaters or are lying fallow, bank owned, with them hoping for a developer to move in a few more 'rude' Downstaters or a few thousand Syrians.

I guess that based on our recent votes, Florida citizens might be called Red State/Red Neck Stoners.
Now, if I can only remember how to roll a fattie.

Will I was in a restaurant ordering breakfast in the deep south, one morning (some time ago) and the waitress refer to me as a D___ Yankee, because I declined the Grits! So I guess I am Yankee from IL.
