What are you paying for propane?
Today was the first time since I bought my MH that I went to a local Amerigas dealer to buy propane.
The cost per gallon was $2.99 in Northridge, California. But, added to that (thanks to our greedy government), a tax of $1.05 was added to the total. So, I ultimately paid $3.515/gallon of propane.
Thankfully, I only needed 2 gallons.

I paid $2.49 per gallon for 18 gallons,, but had to drive 30 miles to get it (4 gallons of gas)
I'll have to rethink the economics of that fillup.

I remember when California had propane prices like this. But it was 25 years ago.

Just filled up last week, $2.71 in CT at a U-Haul. I go there because it's 1) close, 2) easy in/out and 3) same guy does it so things go quick.

I paid $1.58 a gallon on April 29, 2015. I was told that some people in the area had contracts for under $1.00 for propane. The time before I paid $3.69 a gallon. NICE!!!

I am paying 0.35 per pound. That's $1.47 per gallon. This is at an Amish hardware store in the New Holland area of PA.

$0.80 a gallon. I had the guy top off the coach when he filled the residential tank. He told me that he was filling up all of his customers at this price. He had it shipped in from somewhere in the West and was passing the savings on to his customers. I thanked him since he didn't have to do this. He runs a one man operation and does a great job.

Local stations to me: - - Near the highway, $2.10/gal
- - Away from the highway, and easier to get in and out of but five easy minutes away from the highway, $1.85/gal <15 gal, 1.75/gal >15 gal.
GasBuddy has a smartphone app for gas prices. Does such a thing exist for propane?
