Medical advances, laparoscopic surgery, and the myriad of the life and life quality extenders now available. Age 61 and really started using medical advances since age ~50, and will continue to do so for [hopefully] many years to come.

Some of these people must be a thousand years old. In my lifetime it would be the automotive A/C.

Internet, hands down! It has saved me just a ton of money over the years! Information and shopping.........the only thing we shop up town for is produce and meats(food).......everything else gets bought online and UPS delivers it to our door. 56

The best thing I have lost in my life time, was my cell phone! Once gone.........how wonderful life is without it! Tracfone in the Coach............stays in there, never on unless needed.

Medical device advancements. Between my 3 stents and my insulin pump with a continues glucose monitor as part of it I'm still alive. Without these two I'd been dead at least 5-10 years ago, as were most of my Uncles.

Computers were a great world changing invention but their use was not fully realized until the internet became so readily accessible.

Since I am alive today knowledge is key to living better and the internet has provided EASY access to that knowledge base and a lot of entertainment at your fingertips.
