The Lone Ranger was my first tv show when my grandparents got the huge old TV with the little screen. I tried to explain to my grandsons the Lone Ranger story, but neither of them ever heard about it until the Johnny Depp flop came out.
Another old fav was Amos and Andy, I can't find anything on that one. Would also like to see Brodrick Crawford in Highway Patrol. Last time I saw that was in 1962 on Okinawa and it was a hoot with the dubbed in Japanese language.

How about Sky King, Flash Gordon,

As for real entertainment there was the Ed Sullivan show where they only filmed Elvis from the waist up. Loved the Dean Martin Show, I always wanted to see the Rockettes in person and finally got to while activated to Dover AFB after 9/11. Also loved the Jimmy Durante show.

Why can't we have this kind of stuff back on TV???????????????????

Oh and ... The Alaskans, and Mr Lucky. Remember the theme song for Mr Lucky, by Henry Mancini?

The Ed Wynn Show

Sky King was already mentioned, but I have to confess my crush on his niece Penny.

OMG some great shows you guys already mentioned. The Carol Burnett show was always a favorite. Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show. Northern Exposure was quirky and cute, and I want to be be Jessica Fletcher in Murder She Wrote when I grow up!

That's on the ME channel here in NY, somewhere around 12 o'clock at night. Plus a lot of the old shows, like Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Perry Mason, Big Valley, etc.
