What to do with left over ash from BBQ grill

Hi, the other day i made hamburgers in my small BBQ grill. Not all the briquettes were used so i want to relight them (they are grey but i think they will relight).

But i need to get rid of the ash thats in there. There is only about a coffee can of ash in there but i dont have anywhere to put it. I have some aluminum foil but then what do i do with it?

Maybe sprinkle it on the ground?. Its def out and zero chance of fire and the grass is wet also.

Any suggestions?

Where are you? If at a campground they have trash cans. If in the middle of nowhere I don't see a problem with sprinkling ash on the ground if it's not a fire hazard. Ash is a fertilizer.

We either add it to the fire ring ashes or put them in plastic shopping bag and place it in campground dumpster.
