What's with my dream......?

Had these type dreams years ago .....and my wife mentioned to me this a.m. she had a similar dream:

I have left work and it is getting dark. Can't find where I parked my car. Need to get home. No bus will stop for me....no Taxi will stop for me. No phones around that work. My cell phone dial pad is dim, I can't see it and my fingers keep misdialing...Need to tell DW I will be late. One pay phone I remember..... turned into a slot machine as I started to dial.

OK...I have to walk. I live in the country and work in the city. Walking and walking...jumping over fences in peoples back yards. Headed toward the hills. I can see over the hill where we live. Walking and walking....getting closer. Except over the hill is another hill. I can spot our house and getting closer when.....I wake up. Aaarrggg.

I try to limit myself to responding to question about 12 volt electrical and Freightliner chassis , two areas where I can claim a certain level of experience .

Now dreams , I rarely have them but when I do , I can usually relate them to daytime stress . Sounds like you're somehow feeling helpless to deal with daytime happenings so your mind is still trying to wind down but just making the situation worse .
If you're watching too much TV ; news in particular ; cut back , and don't watch it late at night .
Find a quiet spot to go for a long walk , to make sure, your going to bed tired .

Read a book before bed , even if it's just a pictorial ( travel type ) with captions about south sea islands ; anything calming .

Thanks Ben ; this is a clear sign that with the lock down I've got WAY too much time on my hands . Even cut the grass today .

Although I don't believe we're being particularly helpful to the OP.

Sorry Scooter , Ben and I are going off topic . BC travel restrictions mean that Ben and I can't even load our RV's on a ferry to leave town ( only way out ). We're both saving a bunch on diesel , but not having much fun.

From Dream Interpretation site:

Not reaching your destination in a dream tells you that your hopes for the future have been put on hold at the moment. This dream also indicates you have spiritual goals and aspirations that need to be resolved in order for you to move on with your life. ... It is yet another omen for spirituality and depth.

Sounds like Covid fatigue to me.
