I love it. I am using the Skytrak launch monitor (not one of the most expensive but rated as one of the best for the price.) This will give the ability to read the shots. It includes software with a range, some fun target practice and game improvement areas to play with. But if you want courses I added The Golf Club (TGC) software to play.
It's really not that difficult to install the key is doing some research before buying the things you need. Expensive is not necessarily better. What you need is a launch monitor the sky is the limit with these from around $1700 to some new ones coming out I am guessing will be over $30k. You need a screen to hit into (Mine is a remote controlled retractable so I can still use the garage when not golfing.) Then you need a matt to hit from. This is the a case of the best is not better. I bought a real good one the problem was it is so good so dense a miss hit will tear your back and elbows out. I ended up cutting a 12" x 12" piece out of it and installing a better matt.
The pics attached are with the over head lights on so a bit washed out. When playing all the lights go out and I have a spot light that shines down on the hitting area so the screen is much more vibrant. And these pics are old I have made some upgrades since these were taken. I hit the range just about every night hitting anywhere between 50 and 100 balls then play at least 18 holes. On the weekends I play upwards of 36 to 54 holes plus the range. I did the math on what I played last Sunday if I was to play the courses I played in real life it came to over a $1000 day of golf.
