Those that leave their outside RV lights on all evening. I prefer the darkness.

People who walk through the entry doors and stop, right in the middle, and then take their time to figure out where they need to go. I’ve almost run into them when I was in a hurry. Happens most at big box stores.

Watch it folks. DW is disabled and we have HC plates. Some of the things complained about here are legal and very helpful for us. Thank you.

Campground related: People slamming their rv and car doors late night/early morning, or, people whose car horns beeping/signaling their car door locks....all night long...double checking, etc.

Don’t get me started, I have more. But alas I swear I’m trying to let more irritations roll off my back. Lol.

Ooh yes and those folks that constantly drive in the fast lane that won’t yield to faster traffic approaching from behind. The signs clearly read, “Left lane for passing only”.
Those fast lane blockers I call "Campers".

How about Supermarkets and Others setting aside more and more special pickup spots that remain open all day!😡🥶

Pet peave: Getting up from my easy chair and going into another room to get something, but then forgetting what I was supposed to get/do when in there. Returning to my chair, settling in, then remembering it.

Really enjoyed reading this thread, so many things mentioned are truly irritating to others. Just grin and bear it, knowing you found the lost village idiot.

To all of you, this story about a Handicap Parking Place may give you some satisfaction. When I was a Deputy Sheriff in Colorado, I had stopped at a 7-11 to grab a cup of coffee. On my way in the store, a car pulled up in the Handicap spot, showing no Handicap tag or license plate.

I was of course in uniform so I informed the man he was not allowed to park there without any Handicap identification showing. I was taken back when he told me "It's ok, I'll only be a couple of minutes". So I told him, "That's ok, that's just about the time it will take me to write you a $300.00 ticket. Needless to say, he moved to another parking spot and had to walk alllllllll the way, about 50 feet to the store. And, he didn't even smile when he passed me.

Over the years I probably wrote 50-60 Handicap tickets. I'm sure someone will say "didn't you have anything else better to do like arresting murders, rapists...". Well, I just wrote those tickets in between those "other" calls. Just call it one of my pet peeves I was able to do something about.

You don’t remember correctly. In no state is traffic on any interstate expected to yield to traffic entering the highway. 42 year 3.5 million mile CDL driver.

Reminds me of one of my pet peeves…. People who cannot figure out how to merge into traffic!

Speaking of pronunciation, FebRuary! Note the R in that month folks… it’s not like January! Drives me nuts for 28 (or 29) days every year!

Dump station

People on a Sunday morning that take way to long at the dump station. Just have to flush and put everything in totes. Doesn't matter that their is a long line waiting to dump. One guy in a class A could have turned his rig around just to fill his huge water tank. DH get up at 5AM and will use the Blue dump to beat the line at the campsite dump station.

Braille rumble strips

The yellow braille rumble strips on the sidewalks entering and exiting any big box store. How did we ever get out of those stores without getting hit by a speeding car in the parking lot. I see some cities are even putting steel ones at controlled crosswalks.

Those aren't rumble strips. They're called Braille Blocks. They're for the visually handicapped. They keep them safe.
