When the wheels come off.

Seen this video and had to share. The car didn't even have time to react to wheel coming off.

I wonder if the lift, oversize tires and offset had anything to do with it

I just saw another story about it and the wheel studs had sheared off. Amazingly the Kia driver, who was the sole occupant, was not seriously injured.

Tire kicked him in the butt saying "why did you run over me?!"
Glad the driver is ok. only him and whoever does his laundry knows just how scared he was.

I actually gasped when I saw how high the Kia went,, have never seen anything like that. Certainly glad too, that its occupant wasn't seriously injured.

I’m increasingly appalled at the number of morons who have nothing better to do than to screw up a perfectly good vehicle by adding axle extensions which over-stress the lugs, mess up the steering, and frequently cause these kinds of accidents.

I spinning tire has a tremendous amount of energy. Had it been coming toward the car it likely wouldn't have been so violent.

I watched the end of a police chase where the offender was spun out by the cop but when the car got sideways on the shoulder and started to roll the chase car climbed it and was literally pole vaulted way up in the air similar to the above accident.

The wheel studs did'nt snap off. If you look at the end when it hits the car a second time you can see the brake rotor is still attached to the wheel.

I saw that on another forum. Just goes to show how inaccurate the news media can be. They want to rush and get the blood and gore out there but have absolutely no incentive to include information that might help to prevent it from happening.
