Here is a site for pilots. It gives ground wind speed for local airports. Just select state and then the airport near you or where you will be. It gives all data for 2.5 days.
That's understood. I just meant with a GPS smart phone, the winds in your area would be instantly displayed. Much easier than firing up a laptop and using a mouse going down the road.
Maybe it is. I'm still trying to master a laptop as I don't have a smartphone. I have one of those dumb one that all you can do is make telephone calls on. (not kidding)

I think MY RV come with the same app. (accessory) Didn't have to pay more for it either,... 'til I buy fuel, I mean.
