This is exactly how people try to defend indefensible positions.
From the clamav database, there are 76 current hits with OSX in the name. Clamav is the most popular antivirus engine for linux, and is open source and community supported. Since linux is the most common server platform for email servers, it has to be able scan for viruses that infect any platform, OSX included. This is not an exhausive list of all viruses for OSX, just a list of the ones with OSX in the name.

As a point of interest, the very first virus ever to escape the lab into the wild was 'Cloner', a boot sector virus that infected Apple II diskettes.

Is there an option to install it along side W7 and make it dual boot, or is that necessary to run W7 too.

No, you will have to re-install them under Linux, if they will run at all.

I was thinking that myself.

Difference is, I don't care if you run linux or not. I'm a huge linux fan, I work in IT, I support and endorse all platforms, and I'm happy to answer questions if I can. I make no profit from these postings.

Linux is not for everyone. Amsoil is the best thing since sliced bread. Successful linux users need to be power users. Amsoil is tasty when spread on toast, and makes a great marinade. Probably 2/3 of the people on this forum should not attempt to install linux. Amsoil is a must-have for everyone, regardless of age, and makes a great tricycle wheel lube.

Yes, you can dual boot with Windows 7. This is an old article, but Windows 7 and Linux will coexist happily.

Hmm, it should have 'OSX' in the box and display 76 active viruses with OSX in their names.

CTRL +- also worked.

Now what about dual booting.

If you can see a solid line like I did in FF, don't know where it came from. I don't know FF
