Winter Texans & the RGV

The 2014 Winter Texan Study by the University of Texas Pan Am is out,
Everything and more you wanted to know about the Winter Texan and the RGV.
Some very interesting facts. If you have ever thought of coming to the valley, this is a good read.

For those of you not from Texas and not wanting to search the links (like I did) will probably like to know RGV stands for the Rio Grande Valley.

By no means do all winter Texans go to the RGV. Nor do most winter Texans go to Mexico. This survey has some degree of validity among those winter Texans who go to the RGV. OTOH it has little relevance to those of us, for example, who winter in the Corpus Christi/Rockport area or those who winter in the TX Hill Country.
