1/2 way through replacing my awning

I have watched a couple YouTube videos and I’m off!
Slid out way easier than I thought [emoji23].
Hope the new one is the right size! We shall soon find out!

Good luck!

We had the slide awning replaced last year and our regular awning replaced this year. Was a lot easier then we thought but still wouldn't want to do it myself.

Great job, and you just saved yourself a bunch of Money We did our old expedition a few years back with the help of our neighbors we got it done. Our new to us old Georgie Boy may need a new one at some time in the future. Its a carefree fiesta, so thinking of changing it to a crank out gotta call carefree and see if that is possible, from what I see on their web site it should be.
Anyhow, great jobs,
Have fun that's the name of the game, enjoy.

My awning is the most not found of course. The dometic [emoji23] Amazon sold them from that factory in Indiana. Awning was only $155.

When you purchased the fabric, did the fabric already have the cord sewed in or was it the type you have to roll into the fabric once you get it tight?

I purchased an 18' SunWave awning fabric and it has to have the outer cord put in.

Not sure if it is going to work out simply or going to be a PITA to install LOL.

Also, for anyone looking to replace their awning fabric, I found this YouTube video that a fella installed his by himself.
Makes it look fairly easy.
