1975 P30 Fuel Tank selector locations

I'm hoping someone on here can help me out, I'm trying to find the location of the fuel tank selector valve on a 1976 Itasca C25A. I have looked through my 1974 service manual and 1975 supplement and cant find any info on this.

I discovered through a search of the microfiche on the Winnebago site that the Original equipment was a single wire 3 port selector valve and I believe this has stopped functioning. The reason I think that is because I switched over from the aux tank to the main tank and then I went ahead and ran out of fuel. I found on the side of the road that I had 32 gallons in the main tank and 0 in the aux tank. I know it was working before because I could empty both tanks while driving.

So anyway I'm looking to replace that selector valve but I cant seem to locate it. I'm assuming its on the passenger frame rail somewhere but there's not quite enough clearance for me to shimmy myself underneath the fuel tanks and probe around.

Does anyone know for sure where this valve might be mounted? Also I know GM was making some changes around this time and switching to a 6 port fuel selector that had a vapor return to each tank on the valve. Does anyone have this particular model Itasca who could confirm?

Tanks, (get it?)

Probably the easiest way will be to jack it up so you can get under it. If your going to replace it yourself you need it up anyway correct? Just follow the line back from the fuel pump until you find the valve. At that time you will be able to tell if it has 3 ports or 6. Any of the major parts stores should be able to help you out. Good luck.

Just to follow up, I did end up finding that thing. Hidden inside the frame rail just in front of the main fuel tank.

It is a single wire 6 port type, AC Delco 467513. For now I just removed it and connected the fuel pump supply and return to the main tank. I wonít be able to switch to the auxiliary tank, but I think it will still run the generator. So Iíll have the main feeding the engine and the aux feeding the gen.

If anyone happens to have that part referenced above or knows where to get it, let me know. It is no longer manufactured and the aftermarket replacement takes more wires.
