1976 Tioga

Hello, I’m new to the group and in search of info on my 1976 Tioga motor home. It’s on a 1976 GMC Vandura chassis and has a Chevy 400 engine. I cannot find anything online about this chassis/motor home combo. Wondering if someone could direct me to a site with more info. Thanks!

As with most RVs built before the internet came about , a lot of information didn't become digital only existed in print .
GM , may have digitized some chassis info , but it'll probably come at a cost.
If you're after an appliance manual then with the manufacturer's name and a model number you'll probably find what you're after, online; because the same appliance could have been used into the digital age.
If you have specific questions then , I'm sure members here will be able to help .

The original Fleetwood company that built your unit declared bankruptcy in 2009 and was bought up , but I don't believe much , if any , of the original info is being handled by the new owner.

A Haynes or Chilton manual should take care of the chassis questions.

All the appliances, converter/charger, furnace, etc., should have a tag with manufacturer and model number. If you search for those online you should be able to assemble a manual for them.

Most actual house manuals were lacking in any really helpful info. I've never really missed the ones I didn't have. If you're at all familiar with plumbing and electrical in a house it's essentially the same, they even use a lot the same parts.
