First guess ; given the decal colours would be Vanguard .
Second would be Frontier .
Did the PO clean off all the decals , that might indicate company name or city of manufacture ?
Is the weight info sheet missing from inside ?
No specific place for the sheet , it can be inside a cabinet door , or on the back wall of a closet .

EDIT: Part of a decal below the front window , what does that say ?

There were many, many small companies in the late 70's that bought Dodge cutaway chassis and built motorhomes on them. There was a boom in the market then and the barriers to entry were low. Could be any of a number of firms that didn't make it through the 80's. Even the more successful and higher quality builders (there was a lot of junk also) aren't around any more. A lot of these old Cs are just called "Dodge motorhomes" because that's the name on the hood. Good luck!

Glendale also used that decal color for the stripe .

For a way to narrow things down , I see your in AB , if that's where the RV is and the speedo is in kilometers , at least we could narrow it down to Canadian manufacturers .

Frontier had gone to a molded fiberglass front cap by 1980 , not sure about 79.
Glendale had a " G " molded in the factory dual fender skirts .

So many possibilities

So made in Canada , by a company that probably failed before the internet was invented .

You're going to have to get VERY lucky to find anyone with info.

Ken,

You can probably buy or download a chassis manual for the MB400, I had one for my Cayo. It left with the coach years ago.

But, as for the coach (the house on the back) even if you had the original owner's manual, it would probably be just the stuff for the install things.

So, make your own. Get a loose leaf binder and a digital camera. Find the maker's tags on everything and take a picture of same. Then, sit down at your computer and look up everything and see if you can download and print the documentation. Put that all in the loose leaf and add a few blank pages where you will add the plumbing, electrical diagrams and notes.

You have an adventure waiting for you.
