I'm trying to reconnect the Suburban Furnace in my 1979 GMC Midas.
The gas-line for the refer unit runs over the top of the furnace, and I'm a little concerned with that.
The Suburban furnace specs say it only needs 1 inch clearance for combustible material. But I'm hoping someone out there has a Midas and will be kind enough to look in the furnace cabinet and confirm that the refer gas-line is running over the top of the unit.

My gas line runs over the furnace. We replaced the LP/AC refer with an AC refer and an AC freezer. The gas line to the furnace runs over the top of my furnace. Doesn't touch.
I think your Midas and mine are probably a pretty close match. Sooo, I have another question.
The propane line comes up through the floor in the cabinet where the furnace goes (below the fridge). There is a T in the line there that is capped off, and then the line continues up to the fridge.
I have looked everywhere and there are no tanks or regulator or nothing in the RV anywhere!! It is allllll gone!
My question is............. Where are your tanks located (I am guessing under the back bunks?) and where do your incoming gas-lines connect to the system????
Don't you just love "vintage restoration".

My permanent mount LP tank is on the passenger side at the rear of the RV. I would have to get down to look up under the side to see it. the regulator is right at the LP tank.
Pic of our Regulator installed after our homebrewed extend-a-stay.
