1981 Empress Class A RV Water Tank

I am having a problem filling my water tank with hose...have had for 6 yrs but hubby (now widowed) always tended to these problems and wonder if somebody could tell me where I could locate the 'air valve/vent'?
I have done this many times but this time something's changed as it comes back out the hole as quickly as it goes in! Water pump is working, but slow intake to tank!
Thanks in advance for any help! Brenda

Many units have a clear plastic hose from near the top of tank, terminating near the water fill. This hose can become kinked, filled with water, or simply collapse from age. If yours is like this, use compressed air to blow into the hose, towards the tank, and clear the hose. If that fails, then the hose must be replaced or straightened to remove the kink.
