1984 Winnie Chieftan 454 choke problem

There is a "heat stove" bad on my Quadrajet hot air choke. It is a 1/4 inch plate bolted on the intake with a metal tube loop that goes into the manifold. I cannot find this part. It supplies heat to the choke via two tubes next to the choke thermostat.

Or, I need an electric conversion for the choke. who makes that? what part number please?

Thanks, Dan

Dan,

They are pretty readily available, but there are two kinds.

One is just the choke heater, but the other comes with a thermal switch and costs more.

If you don't have a "power only when running" place to go to, get the switch kind. If you have an oil pressure switch for the fuel pump, that is good.

If you just tie the non-switch type to the ignition and you have a hard start, the hard start gets worse fast.
