1989 bounder 40 foot

I am new here so i hope this is in the right place We have just purchased a 1989 bounder 40.
I have read some older posts about a few people that have 1989 bounder 40 foot. Looking for info on how those campers are doing today. Are they well liked or a disapointment?

Welcome!

Any information in particular that you're looking for?
I take it the 40ft has the tag rear axle? They certainly are a beast!

If you need any wiring help can send the diagrams We got from fleetwood for our 34ft 1987 bounder. Better still you can also contact fleetwood with your chassis number etc to see if they have any model/year specific diagrams etc for your 40 footer.

Basicly wondering if there are any model specific problems to look out for. I may need to get diagrams in near future but as of now have not been thru the entire rig to see what works and what does not

Personally don't know of any 40ft bounder issues of that vintage but if it has the tag axle (2nd rear axle) would get that checked out or look at it yourself depending on your mr fix it skill level.

What chassis is it on and what engine does it have? That information may give you a much better idea of certain specific issues related to ford or chevy chassis/engines, rather than specific to 40 ft bounder.

Im sure someone with one of those beasts will be along to help you more.
