1992 Fleetwood sway bars

I have a 1992 Fleetwood Bounder with a 5.9 diesel pusher, also a Oshkosh frame. I have been trying for a long time to upgrade the sway braces and cannot find anywhere to purchase these sway braces. I am also looking for sumo springs but they don't make them for that year of a motorhome. Is there anyone out there that can help me or advise me what I can do so that the motorhome doesn't sway alot when I am going down the freeway and a big semi passes me. I would greatly appreciate any help. I cannot even find polyurethane bushings for the existing sway bars. Thanks

I have a 94 on an Oshkosh chassis. Freightliner is the place to get parts for Oshkosh now. Call and ask them if VIN number is sufficient or if there is another number they need to find your parts.

Define ďsway braceĒ please. I was able to purchase generic polyurethane bushed swaybar brackets directly from Prothane. They list them by size for custom applications.

What chassis do you have?

I just replaced all (4) of my front sway bar bushings and had no issue sourcing them from Oreillys. This was for a Chevy P-30 1994.

Hi I have a 1992 Fleetwood Coronado and I’m have a terrible time finding a drivers side brake spindle. I’m going to try to figure out how to use this site since it’s been a while. But I saw you had a 1992 Fleetwood also and I thought I’d ask if you know where I can get parts for it. I am stuck in the Home Depot in my brakes are locked up but they don’t want to take it apart if they can’t get a spindle for the brake on the driver side. I’m in such a mess! Just thought I’d ask

Itís built on either a Ford or Chevrolet chassis. If it has Chevrolet engine it is on a P-30 chassis. That should help you locate parts.

The original posterís fleetwood is a diesel pusher and completely different from yours.

Measure the OD of the sway bar than shop your local FLAPS or Rockauto.

I just replaced all (4) on my 94 Southwind Storm.
